Pelvic care can feel exposing. These are the ways we keep it yours.
Nothing without your yes
Wilhelmina explains each step before it happens, and asks. A yes to one step is not a yes to the next.
You can stop at any time
Say stop, or pause, or I would like to try that another day. That ends it, with no questions.
An internal exam is optional
It is only offered when it would help, and many people are seen without one. Saying no changes nothing about the care you get.
You stay clothed unless a step needs otherwise
She tells you what needs to be uncovered and why before you do anything, and offers a way to keep covered.
Bring someone, or come alone
A partner, friend or family member can be there for all of your visit, part of it, or none of it.
Your name and pronouns
Tell us how to address you, and we use it in the room, on the phone and in messages.

Who knows you came
A visit here is private, from the booking to your chart.
What we ask you before you come
Your name, phone and email, and how and when to reach you. This site never asks for symptoms, a condition or a reason for your visit.
Who sees your records
Wilhelmina, who is the only clinician here. We keep your records private and share them only as the law allows, and with your doctor only if you say so.
How we contact you
In the way you choose: a call, a text or an email. Tell us if a voicemail or a text could be seen by someone else, and we will use something else.
