Pelvic floor physical therapy
Pelvic care that starts with listening
One physical therapist, one hour and a quiet room. Care for adults of every gender with pelvic pain, leaks or pressure.

You do not need a diagnosis to ask
This care is for you if
If any of these sound like you, a visit is a place to start.
- 01
You leak when you cough, laugh, lift or run
Or a sudden urge comes and you do not always make it.
Bladder and bowel - 02
Sex, tampons or sitting for long hurt
Pain that you were told to put up with, or to relax away.
Pain with sex - 03
Your pelvis feels heavy, full or dragging
Or you can feel a bulge that was not there before.
Pressure and prolapse - 04
Pelvic or low belly pain has no clear cause
It comes and goes, or it has stayed for months.
Pelvic pain - 05
You are pregnant, or had a baby, and your body feels different
Aches, a weak belly, leaks, or worry about starting again.
Pregnancy and after birth - 06
You are a man, or trans or nonbinary, and most pelvic clinics seem built for someone else
Care planned around your body, and your name.
Men and all genders
Every gender
Pelvic floor care is for every body
Everyone has a pelvic floor. Wilhelmina uses the name and pronouns you give her, and asks only what she needs to plan your care.
You are welcome here if you are
A woman, before or after pregnancy, or through menopause
A man, with pain, or after prostate or bowel surgery
Trans or nonbinary, or you do not name a gender at all

Consent
You say yes to every step
Nothing happens in the room that you have not agreed to, and you can stop at any time. Read how consent and privacy work, in plain words.
A first visit
About an hour, in three parts
- 01
Step 1: You talk
Fully clothed, at your pace. Wilhelmina asks about your goals and answers what you want to know.
- 02
Step 2: She looks at how you move
How you sit, stand, breathe and lift. An internal exam is only ever offered, and you can say no and still be seen.
- 03
Step 3: You agree on a plan
You leave knowing what she found, with a few things to try. How it is paid for is explained before you book.

Questions people ask first
Do I need a referral?
In Wisconsin you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one, and we tell you before you book.
Will it hurt?
Wilhelmina works within what you can tolerate and stops when you say stop.
Do I have to be examined internally?
No. It is only ever offered when it would help, and the choice is always yours.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. A partner, friend or family member can sit in for all of your visit or part of it.
Do you see men, and trans and nonbinary people?
Yes. Wilhelmina sees adults of every gender.
